Tempered Glass with HST

Heat Soak Testing is a thermal process that complements the tempering process and it is used to eliminate the glass that carries the risk of spontaneous breakage due to nickel sulphide inclusion.

During the test, tempered glass is subjected to a 290ºC temperature and then undergoes a gradual cooling.

HST reduces in 95% the possibility of spontaneous breakage, after the glass is installed.
